About Me

Ruhiyye: I'm Ruhiyye, a teacher of English from Azerbaijan. I've been working at Ismayilli Secondary School #1 since 2001. Teaching is the worthiest, most rewarding and exciting profession in the world. I’m happy for being the owner of this occupation. I love my job and my lovable students and permanently try to set a good example to them so that students can see me as a person with confidence, feel comfortable talking to me, can lean on, look up to, and trust. To achieve the best results in TEFL I always try to implement more efficient strategies and compatible to my students’ needs at the same time. Project Based Learning is one of such ones. Involving my students in eTwinning projects we gain some skills that cannot be gained through any other strategies. Moreover, my students get a pretty chance to make foreign friends and improve their language and social skills communicating with them. I consider blogging as a part of teaching ESL and we benefit from the resources of different teaching sites and blogs, web2.0 tools while teaching English .
